Remember that at the trevi fountain stop throw a penny in the fountain and legend has it that you will definitely return back to Rome, so make sure you have a couple of coins with you. The “Amalfi Coast Drive” is said to be the most spectacular in Europe and from winding cliff top road offers
breathtaking panoramic views at every turn. 
Each spot is a world of its own, a fantastic world which dazzles the imagination and inspires unforgettable impressions.
 We reach Amalfi, which gives its name to the whole coast on which it lies. This was once a thriving Marine Republic, powerful and prosperous, and now a thriving holiday resort. The unmistakable cluster of white tightly packed houses rising up the hillside is dominated by the beautiful Cathedral which stands superbly on the top of a great flight of steps leading up from the main square. Housed in the magnificent Cathedral are the remains of the Patron Saint of Amalfi and also Scotland – Saint Andrew. 
From Amalfi we visit Ravello which nestles eleven hundred feet above the sea in the mountainside. 
We visit the Villa Rufolo which gave the musician Richard Wagner the inspiration to create some of his most famous works. And also the gardens of Villa Cimbrone

Returning  back you will drive through the agriculture area of the peninsula

THE ACTUAL DRIVE
It will only take you an hour to reach Florence, as you drive through countryside lush with vineyards and olive orchards. Your first stop will be an overview of the town from Piazzale Michelangelo, on the top of the hill. Along the drive your chauffeur will make sure that you are taken care of and answer all your question that you may wish to ask.

When you arrive in Florence, head first to Santa Croce Church, where Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, and Rossini are all buried. Then your driver will park in the Piazza del Duomo to survey the superb cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the second largest church in the world.

You are now in the middle of the walking area, only five minutes from the best shopping area of the town, the Piazza della Signoria, with Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Museums and Ponte Vecchio, the famous 14th century covered bridge, home of Florence’s gold shops! Wander through the fashionable boutiques or sample a bit of Tuscan cuisine.

THE CATACOMBS OF ROME THROUGH THE APPIAN WAY

The first stop will be on the Esquiline Hill where our guide will show you the treasure of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, then continuing by coach to stop at the Holy Staircase, the Lateran Palace and the Basilica of San Giovanni, the cathedral of Rome (visit inside). Then proceeding along the Ancient Appian Way, we will pass by the Chapel of “Domine Quo Vadis” before arriving at the Catacombs, the ancient underground cemeteries and first hiding places for the Christians. A visit will be made to either the Catacombs of S. Callisto, Santa Domitilla or San Sebastiano depending upon seasonal conditions. The tour will end with a spectacular view of the Baths of the Emperor Caracalla.
